Drive green to work and you could arrive at the green in style with a $100 gift card to the PGA Superstore! All you have to do is send in a picture of how you go green during your commute to work and you could win. The Clean Air Campaign suggests carpooling, teleworking, vanpooling, taking transit, bicycling or even walking to work. It’s up to you!

Each week, True Oldies listeners will select their favorite picture of a listener taking a better way to get to work other than driving alone, and a new winner will be chosen to receive a $100 gift certificate to the PGA Superstore. Don’t wait – go green with Randy and Spiff today!

  • Save Some Green: When you calculate gas, car maintenance and other expenses, your commute costs 56 cents a mile. With a daily average commute in metro Atlanta of 39 miles, that adds up to a lot of green. Carpooling just twice a week can save you about $1,000 a year, maybe more.
  • Start Driving Greener: Because half of all smog in metro Atlanta comes from the tailpipes of cars, the best way to drive greener is to drive less. Choose an alternative to driving alone like carpooling, vanpooling or taking transit because bad air quality affects us all, especially children and the elderly.
  • Give Green: The Clean Air Campaign is a non-profit organization that works with Georgia commuters, employers and schools to improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion. And your support goes a long way. Thanks to a matching grant, every $1 you donate becomes a $5 donation.
